After their previous Life, Gwel Li decided to restart from zero through a creative rebirth. Going back to the origin, to the source of things, they decided to recreate their name, their network, their connection, and their art.

A new dawn

After being an inwards and outwards reflection, projection their introspection on the world, Gwel Li came back with a new form a visual expression. In total disconnection from their prior works, this new creative arch is being built questioning the audience. More than just a title and a representation, a fundamental process mechanically reshaping the stereotypes of the genre, while keeping fluid strokes.

Digital traditionalist

Coming from the tradition of the fan brush, Gwel Li adopted the digital creative media. The ambivalence of adding expressive constraints and removing limits of the analog world, they came with a unique style that guides the imagination of the viewers. Each piece of Gwel Li’s art is a guide, involved in a mental dialogue with each individual, in a dynamic co-creation.

Embracing the future

Some technologies are deeply connected with art, questioning the status quo. One of such example is the NFT, redefining the way art is distributed. It simplifies the proof of ownership and certification. To avoid unauthorized theft by third parties, Gwel Li is dedicated to publishing each piece of their art immediately as an NFT.
